2nd Grader learning Geometry!
About The Math Tutor Network...
The Math Tutor Network started as an idea in the summer of 2000. As a teacher, I wanted something innovative and creative to do during the summer while school was out. However, I did not want just "any" job; I wanted something that I was passionate about and enjoyed doing. The more I pondered upon the idea, the more I became excited! Within the next year, the private tutoring began!
The Math Tutor Network began with the name "The Math Connection" because it was important to me as a teacher to "connect to the kids" mentally, and meet the needs of each individual. After 10 years of success, and the enormous growth of the business, I realized I needed more hands, brains and passionate tutors to assist me. Consequently, The Math Tutor Network was inspired. The Math Tutor Network was created by Kimberly Lee, a certified teacher of 15 years. Through 15 years of experience, I was able to inspire learning through various grade levels and experience learning through the lens of many wonderful students. In doing so, their inspiration helped me to understand how students think at different ages and learning stages.
