"I was desperate for high school Algebra 1 Help for my son. I was helping him at home, but I was also faced with my two younger children needing my attention, cooking, and just daily life. While tutoring him myself I often had typical house hold interruptions. I wasn't able to give him my undivided attention. This "life situation" is what prompted my search for a math tutor. Thankfully, I did a google search and came across the Math Tutor Network. Kimberly worked with our very demanding schedule and set us up with Laura who was able to tutor him virtually in the evenings. My son was able to get the one on one help he needed and Laura was so amazing and patient with all of his questions. She constantly checked and rechecked for understanding and went above and beyond to help him. He went halfway through the semester maintaining between a 50-60 without help. In just 4 tutoring sessions that Laura helped him, he was able to finish the semester with a high C...we almost made a B. He did very well on his EOCs and scored an 84! "We started with The Math Tutor Network about 6 weeks ago. Our children both love the tutor assigned to us. She has been amazing at working with them to understand everything better and it is showing in their grades! Both my children's grades have risen since we started! One of them has went from getting Cs on major tests with a grade of 81% to having B+ and As on test with a new grade of 88%. Our other student was having to retake tests to get to 75% and a grade of 75%. Recent tests and work has been solid Bs and As and new grade of 81%. MEET THE OWNER
Kimberly Lee, the Owner of The Math Tutor Network has been in Education since 1999.
The Math Tutor Network was an idea that initiated "as a thought in my mind" while sitting in my classroom many years ago. With 25 enriching years in Education, including
14 years shaping young minds directly in the classroom setting. I say that proudly and passionately! It is not something one just does, it's a GIFT!
Funnily enough, my commitment to teaching began in 7th grade, and I NEVER wavered. My cousins would call me “bossy” in the summertime when I insisted, we "play school" but it was a fire within me at a very young age. I’ve always been the kid known to wear her heart on her sleeve. Helping others and seeing growth within our students is most
gratifying. It is what motivates me within my company each day!
After many years in the classroom, education began to shift in a manner that was no longer aligned with my philosophy as an Educator. So, I decided to resign. I knew education was the only avenue I wanted to be a part of, so I created The Math Tutor
Network, hiring professional Certified Teachers and Tutors to become a part of the Network.
Nestled in Georgia, we offer personalized Face-to-Face sessions locally, and virtual tutoring
across the United States. We do so by reaching the needs of students individually. What truly sets me apart is my deep, lasting bonds with students that often blossom into lifelong connections-from Elementary years through adulthood. I can happily say that I
ABSOLUTELY love kids and education will ALWAYS be my passion. Hearing successful follow up from our parents regarding their student(s) progress is what brings me the utmost joy and fulfillment!
